Another interesting project that got dropped. Not glad with this news. It's the one promissing project after the other he leaves ... If 'Damn Yankees' is cancelled next, all the real interesting things that came around in the last 5 years (or so) are cancelled. He needs a new agent, this is going on since the day he dropped the previous one (his golden years).

Instead he's doing Dumb & Dumber 2 and he's considering Bruce Almighty 2?

It's not that I'm being the negative fan ... but I'm getting tired of the way these things go lately.

Seariosly you are right he needs new agent or something because every interesting project he found it's droped out i was so happy when i heard that Pierre Pierre will finally shoot this summer after i dont know 5 years in divelopment and he cancelled it, I am just disappointed in you Jim, I would not be surprised if he cancell even Dumb and Dumber 2

If he doesn't want to do it, back off and let him quit. Don't tell me you're disappointed just because he dropped this one alone. Now you're starting to think he'll just give up on all his other projects? Way to think positive about our hero, guys.

I can only speak for myself, so my comment was based on all the cancelled projects in the last couple of years, not just this one. And I only mentioned 'Damn Yankees', that's only one title, the last one left in a long list of cancelled ones. I'm not dissapointed in Jim as a person or actor, I'm not glad with all the interesting projects getting cancelled. My dissapointment with the projects has nothing to do with my appreciation for his talent. It's because of his talent I hope there will be a change in his carreer soon, I'm actually hoping "Bruce 2" is not happening and the project makes place for more interesting and challenging things ... Projects with fresh ideas.

I don't know what to think about this...but i just read on Wikipedia that Steve Carrell will replaces him ? and are scheduled to begin shooting next year in January. Is this true or is just a rumor ? Look at the filmography, 2014 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Carell#Filmography

Now, regarding Jim, I'm with Fluffy: He had his reasons.

I dont know is this true but i wouldnt be suprised if it is,he starts to anoying me because wherever i look whatewer movie i see he is in there i hate that guy

I like Steve but I love Jim. Jim is the best for me.
