It's interesting how almost all of the big stars of the 80's and 90's are now doing a lot of TV stuff. I reckon that's where the big money is now and it gives them a much bigger circulation opportunity.....i'd be delighted if I could see Jim in my bedroom weekly....lmao  :D (on my TV you pervs.....lol)
I think that's gonna be the future for Jim with occasional movies.....I still have faith that he will win an Oscar one day but it will be for a semi-serious film, a script with pathos and heart...one day Jim, one Day.......

I think the best quality of scripts and characters is on TV right now.
In these last ten year (with the exception of Jim's movies), I haven't seen one movie that I though.... "WOW it's great!"

Odly enough, for me, some of the best movies, and the ones I like to watch, are from the 90's....
Strange but it's what I feel.

I don't watch TV anymore
too much junk
I see old movies
rent them
or use net to see specific items
great way to avoid commercials
more economical and
can choose what I want to see
Bad stuff is not in my face

If you're talking about reality show.... I completly agree.
But fiction? For me is the best.

Yes, agreed
Sometimes watching TV
is like what happened to me today
I found a nut on the shore of the beach
I wasn't sure what kind it was
It looked very old and dark
I wondered if there was any fruit in it
I took it home and wondered if
I should open it or keep it as a souvenir
Finally I had a friend Crack it open
with a hammer
The hammer hit many times
(Like changing channels)
Finally it opened
It looked like a walnut but the fruit
was dried up and gone
AND it stank
I could not keep it due to the smell
Now it is in the recycling bin to decompose

I read on Google and Yahoo that Jim Carrey and the cast of "True Crimes" are gonna start shooting "True Crimes" in Poland on November 7, and probably wrap up on December 20.
I'm very glad that Jim Carrey is moving on after the death of Cathriona and attending her funeral. I hope Jim will continue to keep moving on.

Sincerely,
Terry Marvin (Dallas, Texas, USA)

I also agree that Jim Carrey will win an Academy Award one of these
days. I wonder what his reaction will be if someday Jim ends up winning an Oscar?

When it comes to comedy, I just keep hoping for Ace Ventura 3 in the coming years. He's not too old yet. On the other side, I would like him to star in some more serious films, working with great directors and co-stars. And in that spirit, the other kind of comedy. I thought Philip Morris was very satisfying.
