Man, i really hope this will be made. Sounds like a great character for Jim to play. With a great director on board, i smell some Oscar / Golden Globe nominations.

I'm so excited :D

With the right people in front of and behind the cameras, this could be promising. I believe the writer is good news. I hope it doesn't turn out to be like Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium when it comes to succes and appreciation. All depends on who's joining the crew and cast. I'm always hoping for Spielberg when it's something imaginative like this. But I guess that's too high to aim. ;)

"The film is described as Steve Jobs meets A Beautiful Mind by way of Willy Wonka."
God, that sounds awesome! Hope this will be done! So exciting! :ace:

I also hope that this biopic film will get done. It would be a wonderful role for
Jim Carrey. I hope it's really true and not a rumor. The Tracking-Board is only
place that I've seen the article. I saw the article last night. I also saw the article
on Twitter today. It really would be a great role for Jim . I also smell Oscar, Golden Globe, or SAG Award. (Screen Actors Guild Award). I can't until I see an article
about when he's gonna start shooting the film. I really hope it'll be a serious drama
not a comedy.

Sincerely,

Terry Marvin (Dallas, Texas, USA)

P.S. I hope yall don't mind the Bold and Italics Fonts.

I like the fact the contrast between a role as Aleister Arcane and now 'Mr. Toy' will be huge. :) All good.

Yes, that's it. It's the most wanted scripts that haven't turned into a movie yet.

i'll reserve judgement until we get more info....my only concern would be if it's another kids film......i think it's time to do something mainstream which is serious..he's done just about every genre, it's time to find something with real pathos and relevance again......

I totally agree! I know that winning the Oscar is not the most important thing for an actor but i really want to see him win one (or two or three).

It's a biopic, don't think it will come near to a kid movie. They might have to think about changing the title, though. I mean ... Jim Carrey is Mr. TOY ! Talking about creating wrong expectations. ;)
