It should be just like the first one. It has it's very own kind of humor. Would be great to have that again. "Dumb and Dumber" is my most favorite movie.

Still I'm happy
A new Jim Crarey movie! Yeah!
Actually there are sequels of both movies but they are without Jim Carrey and so not interesting. Like Ace Ventura 3 and Son of the Mask they are also very bad (what else to expect from sequels of movies that are great because of the actor in the main role who is not in the sequels, anymore?).
I don't considerer Evan Almighty a sequel of Bruce Almighty. It's more like a franchising... Lol To be a sequel it had to be the same character (at least for me) but since the main character is different I don't see the movie as a sequel.
Son of the Mask and the prequel to Dumb and Dumber, were a very bad ideia...
I saw the ending of "Son of The Mask" and only the poster for the Dumb and Dumber prequel, and it was enough for me.
This is just my opinion but: When an actor gives life to a character, he will always be that character. You can change the actor to whoever you want but it's not the same actor, so it's not the same person. Even if mentally it is, we all know that actors also give the body to a character (more like lending...
)
Creatting a movie with a character but changing the actor who plays it, it's to me an awful ideia. I haven't seen any movie where that actualy worked...
So, to the people in the movie bussinees: DON'T DO IT! And if you do, don't acted surprise if it becames a floop. It would be beter not to do it in the first place.
Trying to sell us cheese when we know we order ham... ^^
