Very interesting news today!

Showtime has ordered a pilot with Jim Carrey as executive producer. "I'm Dying Up Here," an hourlong project set in the 1970s comedy scene.

Carrey serves as an exec producer on the dark comedy along with former standup comedian Dave Flebotte who penned the pilot, which is based on William Knoedelseder's novel of the same name.

That's great that Dr. Jim Carrey is set to do the pilot on Showtime. I don't have Showtime on my cable, but I plan on adding it soon.
I hope Jim will talk about it the pilot.

Sincerely,

After the news of True Crimes it seems like Jim Carrey only will be executive producer. But we can hope he also has a cameo. :)
