Opinions on Jim's Interview on Ltrmn
I saw when it was originally on here but couldn't hear it
so I ended up having to go on the CBS site.
But the reality is that was a really difficult song to sing,
and to even attempt to do it was amazing.
He has great vocal range,
I once tried a difficult song and the Kareoke lady later said
you know the song you sang was done by a woman who was
originally an opera singer and to even try was pretty good.
Thankfully she gave me hope, but with hope comes practice
I don't go to Kareoke very often anymore, I miss it but don't
like going on my own so I don't.
But I practice wherever I am, I really don't care who hears me,
I just enjoy music.

I wish he gave that mug away to someone who wanted it instead of breaking it. I'm wondering if Letterman was insulted?

Re: Love the anime version in the song
After Jim sang the song I wanted to see how
the original artist did it so I googled it and
saw the artistic rendition of the song.
That's really neat, then I found out they
dissolved the band this year, I think.
STill love the song though

Re: Opinions on Jim's Interview on Ltrmn
i thought the interview was great!!.
.......The smashed mug was a P*ss take on high notes smashing glass.......
i can't inderstand why the media tried to cause trouble though ....Jim and Dave were not disagreeing on anything....it was all tongue in cheek.......and he did a great job doing the AHA pastiche, it was all good fun....

yup many years ago. The commercials would show a singer singing and her voice would get so high she would break the wine glass and the announcer would say "Is it live or is it memorex?" Many different ones were made all using the wine glass and that same slogan . Even magazine ads were made.

@ cotton. I remember those commericals. WOW! I feel very old, lol.
I think that Mythbusters tried to do something with that breaking glass. They were able to. I was suprised it was Adam's voice that did it, lol....Shocking

I loved the interview! It came on again earlier this week, so I had to watch it again, haha.
