The Incredible Burt Wonderstone - An Underrated Movie
25 Dec 2013

By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)

With many movies premiering every year, sometimes it’s easy for some to be overlooked by others.

Yahoo! Movies has writing an article with a list of The 13 Most Underrated Movies of 2013 and Jim Carrey’s "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" was the 4th on the list.

Here’s what they had to say about it:

“We'll admit, the trailer for this one made it look pretty craptastic; so expectations were set firmly at bay going in. But what a trick Steve Carell and company pull off in this comedy clearly inspired by Kris Angel's feats and Siegfried and Roy's hair. A bit schmaltzy, yes, but there are a surprising amount of genuinely laugh-out-loud moments here, and in a bit part, it's the funniest Jim Carrey has been in years (turns out he can be better served in small doses). The definitive "worth a rental" pick. — by Kevin Polowy”

Although the movie had mostly bad reviews, everyone agreed that Jim Carrey as Steve Gray was by far, one the best parts of the movie.

The DVD and Blu-ray have already been release and we at JCO agree that it’s definitely worth watching.
