Happy New Year - 2017 Will Rock!
31 Dec 2016

By Eva Araújo (Web correspondent)

December is a nostalgic month when sometimes we analyze another year that has gone by quicker than what we expected.

2016 wasn't perfect, we lost some amazing stars and had to deal with the worst kind of people in the world, but at the end of the day we need to focus on love and on the best this year has brought us.

In January 10, Jim Carrey was a presenter at the Golden Globes and as usual, nailed it by making everyone laugh!

Laughter is the best way to see the world and Jim, who's not only an amazing actor but a wonderful comedian, was presented at the 90th birthday party for the comedian Jerry Lewis in April 8th.

A few weeks later in April 30th Jim attended the David Lynch Foundation Benefit.

At the end of 2016 is when more exciting news came. Jim attended the Showtime Emmy Eve Party in September and very soon after that, the production for the TV show "I'm Dying Up Here" started. This is a milestone since hasn't done TV since "In Living Color" and even though he's not going to start in it, he has been deeply involved in the Project as one of the executive producers.

Jim Carrey hasn't had any TV appearances this year but we're hoping 2017 will change that.

In September 6th, the movie "The Bad Batch" premiered in the Venice Film Festival. A month later in October 12, "True Crimes" also premiered in the "Warsaw Film Festival. Both movies had mix reviews and Jim wasn't able to attend any of the premieres.

We would like to imagine that 2016 is the pre-production year and that 2017 will be the big show. We are looking forward for everything this new year will bring.

The JCO team would love to wish Jim Carrey, his family and the rest of the fan family a WONDERFUL 2017 filled with hope, love and all the good things life may bring!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017!

We'll will promise to keep you updated as more news come.
