The Truman Show: Special Collector's Edition

Paramount has finally announced "The Truman Show: Special Collector's Edition". Street date August 23, 2005. According to The Digital Bits the release will include anamorphic widescreen video (at last), along with 8 deleted/extended scenes and the 2-part The Making of The Truman Show documentary!

Holy crap! Man. I had waited for like ever for a collectors edition of the truman show to come out for the longest time, I finally gave up and baught it like not even a month ago. Thats so crazy. Just my luck... I guess I'll have two truman shows ;)

i had decide to not buy now Truman Show w/ no wide screem end etc.. very cheap.

I just got it recently.

Love the movie. The DVD is pretty cool. the deleted scenes are always nice to watch (especially the first one) and the 2-part making the movie is cool to watch. don't know if a lot of the features on the SE are already on the original dvd. but i think it is worth getting if u don't have the movie and can't find anyplace. otherwise pick up the original.

the cover is pretty cool too.

GREAT DVD!!! THE FIRST DELETED SCENE WAS HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i loved it when he was working out in his room!! and when he was working out w/ his new outfit!!!:) ohhh man!!! gooooood times!!:):)... the documentary was really interesting how all the actors prepared for their roles and such... peter weir seems like a really cool guy!:).... wow that was a lame adjective... cool.... anyway! yay for the truman show collectors edition dvd!!!
