I have to be honest.
Of course I'm gonna buy the DVD of the movie but I'm not sure I will be able to buy it in Blu-ray, for now.

I know that the ironic thing about getting Jim's filmography in DVD is that as soon as I finish I have to start all over again in Blu-ray. But I think it's a bit bad that the extras change depending if you get the DVD or Blu-ray, or whatever.
As a fan I will buy both (eventually) but we shouldn't be "force" to do it.

Now the good thing, the extras who I considerer as being the main, are in both.

I can't wait to see the gag reel. That will be funny!

Hi guys!

Thanks to a portuguese website I got to know that the release date for the DVD/Blu Ray of "Mr. Popper Penguins", is November 24.
Now to honest I'm surprprise the date is two week prior to the realise in USA. If it happen I'm cool but if not I will update later on.

Something tell me is too good to be true, so we'll see...

I'm so disappointed.
If you buy the DVD here in Portugal it only has one extra... The animated short.
And the DVD cover is like the one in UK. I would totattly prefer the cover to be a poster...
I will buy the Blu-ray but I don't have a Blu-Ray player and I have no ideia when I will...

Just wanna compare with the portuguese so I can cry and then find a way to buy a copy directly from USA.

I wonder how did you know that in Portugal the release was in October 5.
Because it's wrong. It was on November 24th and it only reached some stores 4 days later... I went to a store in the 24th and the guy told me they were expecting the DVD's in a few days.

Be careful everyone. The single Blu Rays selling in the USA do not have any extra features on them. I am not sure what the single DVDs have on them so be careful

What the problem with the extras.. here in portugal is the same bullshit. Only the blu-ray has it and I haven't seen the Blu.ray for sale here yet and the darn DVD doesn't have any.
What's up with that?
I really don't get it...
