That reminds me of the time when I was I was in grade school, we were in the library and the librarian said something funny and I responded, "what a dork!" (one of my dad's favorite sayings). Well her jaw dropped to the floor and she glared at me and said "Young lady, do you know what that means!" All embarassed by the fact that I had said something obviously inappropriate, I squeeked out an innocent "no" and proceeded to try and look it up in the dictionary which made it all the worse...she finally told me to forget about it and NEVER say it again.

I'm sure that if that librarian is still there, she'll think "dork" was something from the good old days.

our school librarian was the meekest little mouse, still stuck in a 70's 'nettle wine' time warp. But she was the biggest go-er on the block, she was only in her early 40's, onto her 3rd marriage and had a reputation as a wild thing.........lol......the quiet ones are always the worst........lol

Call it off!!
We also used to make up our own insult/swear words in our family. For some reason my youngest sister would go completely mad if I called her a "dorkapotamus"
