Now correct me if i'm wrong but as yet, I havn't seen a MT wax dummy replica of Jim. Whats wrong with them? He's a comic icon?

I'll bet those wax figurines are like Ken Dolls. When I was little my mom wouldn't let me have a Ken to go with my Barbie....so I took Ms. O'Hura from the Star Trek collection and cut her hair and made believe she was Barbie's interracial boyfriend.
It would have been a lot less complicated just to get me a Ken doll, wouldn't it?

lol I would take the whole thing. I would carry it home on my back. That would look funny, huh?
One time I was in a store and they had a 5ft tall Grinch that was on display that danced and sang(in Jim's voice) I have to admit that thing was freaky. I didn't press that button ever again.lol

I love going to Madame Tussaud's in Vegas, I travel there twice a year for biz purposes. I love to take my camera and interact with the wax people, it's really surreal they are so life-like. Creepy at times. My friend and I have our pictures taken with Brad Pitt, Nicholas Cage and Gerard Depardeuax. When people see them, they say, "Whoa? How'd you meet them?" We're really intricate in our posing, so our eyes track the same as the wax people. You seriously can't tell they're fake. They have a book at the end of the tour to invite you to write a celebrity you want in the museum. I asked an employee how easy it is to get a celebrity. They said the person has to agree to pose as they measure every fracion of an inch of their face & body to make it so life-like. If the person doesn't pose, they won't make it. So maybe Jim's too busy or doesn't want to... but I write his name in every time.

Good job for writing his name down, carreydaway. I didn't know they had suggestion books (i've only been to their Landan museaum.)
Perhaps we should start an online Carrey-Wax petition?
then again if Jim doesn't want to do it then we shouldn't force him into it lol.
When ya think about it really, chances are, Tussaudes have probably approached him to do a sitting many times, since his 1994 breakthrough and every "big" movie he's done since he's been very popular. Therefore, he mustn't want to do it?
I always thought an Uma Thurman ala 'The Bride' in blood-splattered yellow jumpsuit and sword would have made a great wax dummy and beside her could be Tarantino!
I noticed in the Landan museaum that they have Harrsion Ford as Indiana Jones running down a glamourous staircase being chased by a giant disco ball, perhaps at the top of this staircase they could have Jim doing an expressive "FEEL MY WRATH!" pose from Bruce Almighty?

hmmm, after doing some google-searching, it seems that there are 2 Jim wax replicas,
"The Hollywood Wax Museum"
and
"MovieLand Wax Museum"
list Jim as one of their attractions among others.
I happen to hear, however that these museums have nothing on Madamme Tussaudes. Apparantly the likenesses are a bit dodgy and "melted" under the studio lights LOL

The Hollywood Wax Museum Jim Carrey is creepy and looks nothing like him. Same with the Movie Land one shown here:

This is Jim? C'mon!
I'll scan my pictures once I unearth my scanner from the move and show you how real the Tussaud wax people are. I bumped into Al Roker and said "Excuse me" before I realised he wasn't real. Freaky!
