I'm really curious to see how FWDAJ gets on this week, I think a you can get a better idea of what people think of the film because maybe quite a few have been recommended to see it by friends.

Was it number one on its opening week? I dunno.
I was quite surprised when I went along to see it. It was its second night, the multiplex we went to only had it showing on one screen and we went to an evening performance and the theatre was barely half full! Not a great endorsement.
There I was, telling my guy not to order another half of lager before we went in, as we would get the crap seats!
No such worries in the end! LOL.
I don't know if it will get a huge word-of-mouth boost. I love Jim Carrey films and even I told my workmates it was just not a spectacular JC film. And I'm normally all for battling his corner! Lol.
I know, I know, I'm terrible.......
'Munich' does look an excellent movie. So does 'Syriana', when it arrives. Perhaps I'll get back to the cinema soon....

Making it two weeks at the top, Jim Carrey managed a triumph over Spielberg's latest as it fell just 29% from last weekend. Grossing $2,449,541 pushed it's running total up to $7,037,816 making it the 5th top grossing film of the year behind "Memoirs of a Geisha". Looks to be heading into the $15.0m region which would be Carrey's 9th top grossing film in the UK behind "Dumb and Dumber".
