A Cher song?

Post by Paenibacillus »

There´s a moment in the movie when Jim Carrey sing a song (not "I Believe I can Fly", inside the elevator... another song). Well... he doesn´t sing it... he pretends he is singing while the music plays.
I believe it is a Cher music, but I´m not sure. Can someone help me telling me the song´s name? It plays in a moment that Dick is very happy, coming out of his house, the neighbours are looking at him, smilling, happy for him. He spreads his arms and start to "sing" the music... a dance music. Please, help me, I love the song but I don´t know its name
Sorry if this is not the right place to put this Topic, but I´m new in the Forum and I´m a little lost. Sorry too for the gramaticalk errors... I´m not from a country that has English as mother language.
Thank you all!
P.S.: The film is great, isn´t? I love it!!!!! :D

I think this song "I believe I can fly" is from R. Kelly. And yes, Jim DOES really sing it in the movie! :D

Yes, yes... you´re right about the song "I believe I can fly". He really sing this song in the movie (the elevator scene. Very funny, by the way). But I´m talking about another song. This one he pretends to sing while the music plays... it is another one... I think is a Cher song, maybe Sade, I'm really unsure.
Anyway... I aprecciate your help, thank you very much... I know my question is hard too answer.
Please, if someone knows what is the music I´m talking about, please tell me.
BYE.

Smooth Operator... a really great song by Sade... but its not the one I´m looking for... its a dance music the one that plays in the movie and I trully believe that its a Cher song.
Anyway, thank you too for your help.
I hope somebody can help with that....................... tough question, hum?

Do they show that scene in the begining middle or end? Cause if you can tell me that then I can help you try to figure this out. I am going to guess tho. Is it "Believe" by Cher?

It goes like this

"Do you believe in life after love?
I can feel something in side me say
I really don't think your strong enough"

It is a dance song and Jim sang it on Ellen one Year then said he hated the song.lol

The scene plays between the begining and the middle... I'm not sure, because I saw the movie last month, but I believe its the scene when Dick gets a job interview after a long time trying (BUT I'M NOT SURE).
I don't think the song is "Believe" and I'm pretty sure its not "The Sweetest Taboo".
Well, friends, if somebody intend to see the movie again (or for the first time), PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE SONG :!: :!: :!:
Thanks to everybody!!!
P.S.: this question is relieving a BIG POST!!!

Ok I just watched this movie again and there was no scene like that. The only songs that had words were by Sade and a rap song by some guy. :?
