Carrey as singer
18 Aug 1997 JIM CARREY will perform I AM THE WALRUS, in the upcoming homage album to the BEATLES currently being produced by Sir GEORGE MARTIN at his AIR STUDIOS, located in the suburbs of Hampstead. It will be called IN MY LIFE and said to be released in late fall.
According to USA TODAY, this will be Martin's last album. The former Beatles' producer counts in his curriculum with such historical hits as SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND. The album will be a mix of Beatles songs featuring several celebrities. Besides Carrey, are already known to participate SEAN CONNERY (reciting IN MY LIFE), GOLDIE HAWN (A HARD DAY'S NIGHT), ROBIN WILLIAMS (COME TOGHETER in a duet with BOBBY MCFERRIN), and NIGEL HAWTHORNE (FOR THE BENEFIT OF MR. KITE!).
