Believe It Or Not, Jim Carrey May Still Star as Ripley

Finally we are glad to hear news about Jim Carrey's long awaited action-adventure "Ripley's Believe it or Not", which has been in development since 2005. Paramount has signed Eric Roth (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) to write the script of this movie which is based on the exploits of Robert Ripley, the explorer and newspaper columnist who created 'Ripley's Believe It or Not.'
Studio confirmed this news on Wednesday and that Jim Carrey remains attached to the movie. This project started six years ago and was expected to begin a year later for a 2007 release with Tim Burton to direct.
Current producers of this movie are Sean Daniel, Jim Jacks, Ken Atchity and Chi-Li Wong. The studio also included the writing team of Larry Karaszewski and Scott Alexander.
