Dean Martin biopic on hold
07 Aug 1998 According to Variety, Martin Scorsese has placed his Dean Martin biopic on hold until probably late in the next year. Scorsese wants an all-star cast, which is impossible to accomplish in a near future, due to scheduling difficulties from the stars.
Scorsese's dream cast includes Tom Hanks as Dean Martin, John Travolta as Sinatra, Hugh Grant as Peter Lawford, Adam Sandler as Joey Bishop and Jim Carrey as Jerry Lewis.
