"Tribute to Heroes" to be released on CD, DVD & VHS
15 Nov 2001 JCO Correspondent, Grinchy Steve, found out that the benefit telethon "America: A Tribute to Heroes" will be released as a double-disc CD, DVD and VHS. Both the CD and DVD/VHS will hit stores in North America on December 4, a day after going on sale abroad.
The CD will include all musical performances as seen on the live broadcast. Besides the songs, the DVD and VHS will also feature appearances by Jim Carrey and other celebrities.
The tribute has raised more than $200 million so far.
