What's your Favorite Scene in FWDAJ

Post by carreyd away »

SPOILER ALERT!
If you haven't seen it yet, bail out now...

For those who have seen the movie, what was your favorite part?

I loved the part where Dick and Jane had the voice boxes on to disguize their voices. I was crying it was so funny!

Other highlight, the mexican maid, Blanca, with the lisp/speech impedimant who called him "Retard" instead of "Richard" then he would correct her with "Call me DICK" It killed me everytime.

The whole border scene was great too.

i loved the scene when Jim was like. "i'm not leaving this bank empty handed". and he got the check and was like. "i got his signature"

when billy picked up the phone and said "olah" when he called home while hte INS were holding him

and when his neighbor opened the garage door and the car is missing and then was like "honey, where's my car" and dick backed it through glass. then "mercedes, off"

i had so many favs. but some that i can remember at the moment are when dick went mad and went around cutting up peoples lawns, when he took the lawn from the grave yard and he thought god was talking to him through the lightning and thunder i thought that was funny, and the next scence when jane wokes up, she notices that muddy hand print on her boob and him spread out on the bed with mud ever where and her waking him asking him what happen and him telling her he got back the yard, and there was little spots of lawn ever where. the whole scence when dick is racing all of those former employees for that job interview. the elevoter scene when dick is singing i believe i can fly, i found that whole scence cool when they bring the camera down to him, and right under it they put produced by Jim Carrey.

"Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eam, dream, dream, dream
When I want you in my arms
When I want you and all your charms

Hehe I thought the gag when Jim went to the 50th floor and wanted to give a handshake to the boss who was at the other side of the room was delicious!

I haven´t see it yet. 27 January os the releasedate in Sweden. But I have seen the trailer and there is a scene where Jim Carrey is singing "I Believe I can fly". That seems to be a funny scene.

My favorite scene was also the one with the voice boxes, I had to laugh so much there.
And surely the "I believe I can fly" scene which one could also see in the trailer.
when billy picked up the phone and said "olah" when he called home while hte INS were holding him
That one was funny but when Jim was phoning home it was clear that his son says something in Spanish.

Did anyone by the way get the joke at the end with that firm where this guy works? I did not get it.
I'm qì, my friend.
