Chris Tucker and, recently, Sisqo were offered for the title role. Both turned it down. More development hell for "The Mask 2". the Mask 2 is a big "NO" without Carrey in my books....<br>Chris Tucker...I love the man,(and rush hour 2 is hillarious) but I'm glad he turned it down...and I don't even know why they offered Sisqo the part....<br> <p></p><i></i>

I heard about the contract, I don't know if he can even back out? I think it was only for $400,000... The Mask is my favorite Jim movie. But with or without, I would still see it, maybe even enjoy it. I don't know what they're doing with the plans right now, but they recently hired somebody to work on the script. Chris Tucker wouldn't have been bad though... JMHO <p></p><i></i>
