First look: Jim Carrey as Ebeneezer Scrooge

The very first picture of Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge from "Disney's A Christmas Carol" has been reveiled! Carrey stars in the 3D motion capture by Robert Zemeckis as Ebenezer Scrooge and Ghost of Christmas Past, Ghost of Christmas Present and Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come.

His make-up in the new picture looks a bit familiar to Lemony Snicket's character Count Olaf. Scrooge has a longer nose, white hair styled backwards and totally unrecognizable.
Story:
Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it’s too late.
"Disney's A Christmas Carol" will be released on 6th November 2009.
