Sonic 4's Official Logo Uses Pink To Reference Amy Rose
24 Jan 2025

By Tommy Pihl (Editor-in-Chief)

Paramount recently announced that "Sonic the Hedgehog 4" will be released in theaters on March 19, 2027, and along with the news came the first official logo for the film. The design maintains consistency with the previous two movies, featuring the iconic blue lettering that symbolizes Sonic's quills. What catches the eye, however, is the use of pink for the "4," which adds a distinctive touch.

After fans eagerly awaited her introduction, Sonic the Hedgehog 3's post-credits scene officially welcomed Amy Rose into the franchise. She makes her debut by rescuing Sonic from a group of Metal Sonics in New York at night. Armed with her trusty Piko Piko Hammer, Amy swiftly takes down over a dozen robots, establishing herself as a valuable ally to the series' protagonist.

Her appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was thoughtfully designed to pave the way for her character's future role, setting her up as a key figure in the direction the franchise will take moving forward.
