Lee Majdoub joins Sonic movie

Lee Majdoub (Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency) has joined the cast of Jim Carrey's upcoming live-action/CGI "Sonic".
The movie centers on Sonic (Ben Schwartz voice) and his friends, such as Tails and Knuckles, who run around collecting items and points as they attempt to foil the global domination plans of Doctor Eggman Robotnik (Jim Carrey).
We also have a photo from the set. Special effects flipped car in Ladysmith. The crew shot several scenes with James Marsden and Tika Sumpter running up an alley and into Woody's Tavern trying to escape the evil Villain, Doctor Eggman Robotnik. There are still no photo of Jim Carrey.
