i'm not a big fan of it either.....you should show always your partner you care.......one commercial day a year is just retail exploitation........
having said that i bought my B/F a young apple tree....... i thought we could sneak it into the wee woods we planted together........that way there's gonna be a blossoming apple tree amongst the pines and Birch trees.......and the birds and animals can have the apples......lol........& maybe when i'm ancient i'll carve my name on it......lol.......
i thought that was kinda romantic

Actually it wasn't too bad a day,
I cleaned my room and listened to music
It gave me some ideas for future events
I want to do and video clips I want to do

Ate some chocolate, I saved from Christmas
Maybe my next year will be fetter too

But I am going to a Valentine's Day Party on the weekend
so hopefully it will be fun.

I got to spend the day tending to my sick husband, so we laid in bed all day, lol

awe, so many folk are sick at the moment.......lots of nasty bugs about.... ...
lol.....i confess i'm a bit of a tree hugger..... ......i get upset when they get chopped down needlessly.......they are home to so much of nature i just LOVE them......i love the birdsong and the critters......

My Sister bought my daughter a tree about 6 years ago. It grows flowers on it every year so my daughter says its female tree and named her Sally.

hooray!!!.......Sally the tree....that's cool! ........i bought my friend one when her daughter was born and it's really big now, they measure the wee girls height on the tree.....
