| Story Line | Bruce Nolan (Jim Carrey) is a discontented television reporter in Buffalo, N.Y. At the end of the worst day of his life, Bruce rages against God (Morgan Freeman) and God responds by endowing Bruce with divine powers, challenging Bruce to take on the big job to see if he can do it any better.
